Grand Canal Theatre is a 2,111 capacity world class theatre in Dublin, Ireland which opened on 18 March 2010. Designed by Daniel Libeskind of New York and RHWL Architects of London, it is located in the Grand Canal Dock area and the concept of the theatre was created by Mike Adamson of Live Nation and the Docklands Development Authority.

Now over 500,000 visitors attend the Bord Gáis theatre every year. It has facilitated world-class acts such as “Wicked” the musical, “Billy Elliot” and everything else from the “Rocky Horror Show” to “Swan Lake” and “Sister Act”. There is a wide variety of productions to suit all tastes.

Just a 15 min walk away from the hotel down Townsend Street or you can take the slightly more scenic route down the Liffey where you can admire the city! There is also a number of bus routes from very close to the hotel which can bring you most of the way to the Theatre. Before you set off why not enjoy an early dinner or a Pre Theatre drink in the bar.

Tickets can be bought online or in-person at the Theatre Box Office up until 30 minutes before the show. If available, you will be able to purchase tickets on the evening of the show at the box office.
