From Dublin Airport By Bus:-The blue Aircoach OR Airbus 747, both travel directly by road from Dublin International Airport to O’Connell Street. Journey times vary between 25-45 minutes – avoid rush hour traffic (i.e. 7.30 – 9.30am; 1700 – 1830). Prices are approximately €7 one-way, €12 return. Taxi fare from the airport should cost approximately €25-30, depending on traffic and the number of people travelling.

During the Easter Rising of 1916, the GPO served as the headquarters of the uprising’s leaders. It was from outside this building on the 24th of April 1916, that Patrick Pearse read out the Proclamation of the Irish Republic.[8]The building was destroyed by fire in the course of the rebellion, save for the granite facade, and not rebuilt until 1929, by the Irish Free State government. An original copy of the Proclamation of the Irish Republic was displayed in the museum at the GPO.

The major attractions are the Old Library and the Book of Kells, housed in the Old Library.
The Book of Kells Exhibition – a “must see” on the itinerary of all visitors to Dublin. Located in the heart of Dublin City, a walk through the cobbled stones of Trinity College Dublin will bring visitors back to the 18th century, when the magnificent Old Library building was constructed. Inside is housed the Book of Kells – a 9th-century gospel manuscript famous throughout the world. Visitors are welcomed seven days a week.

Guinness Storehouse is a tourist attraction at St. James’s Gate Brewery in Dublin, Ireland. Since opening in 2000, it has received over four million visitors. The Storehouse covers seven floors surrounding a glass atrium shaped in the form of a pint of Guinness. The ground floor introduces the beer’s four ingredients, and the brewery’s founder, Arthur Guinness. Other floors feature the history of Guinness advertising and include an interactive exhibit on responsible drinking.
